Overview

This policy describes the information Margrave collects through this website and how it is handled. We collect only the information needed to operate and protect the site, respond to inquiries, and maintain our services. We do not use advertising pixels, session replay, or cross-site behavioral tracking, and we do not sell personal information.

Margrave is the controller of the personal information described in this policy. This policy applies only to this website and our direct communications with you; it does not apply to third-party sites that we may link to.

Information we collect

  • Inquiries and correspondence. When you submit the contact form, we collect your name, email address, optional company, reason for contacting us, and message. We also retain messages you send us directly, including security reports. We use this information to respond and take appropriate action. We do not add senders to marketing lists without their permission.
  • Operational and security data. Our hosting and security infrastructure processes standard request data such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, and timestamp. When you use the contact form, Cloudflare Turnstile also evaluates limited browser and network signals and returns a verification result to help distinguish people from automated abuse.
  • Website analytics. We collect limited information about visits to this website, including pages viewed, visit time, referring hostname, approximate country or region, browser type, operating system, device type, page performance, and Core Web Vitals. When present in a page URL, we may collect specific campaign parameters such as UTM source, medium, and campaign, but we do not collect complete query strings for analytics.
  • Website interactions. We record limited events such as when a contact form is opened, whether an inquiry is submitted successfully, whether a submission fails, the general failure category, and the location of the button that opened the form. Analytics event records do not include names, email addresses, company names, messages, form-field values, IP addresses, persistent visitor identifiers, or browser fingerprints.

Operational logs are retained for no more than 90 days. Custom analytics event records that do not contain visitor identifiers are retained for up to three months. Aggregate website analytics may be available for up to six months, and aggregated reports that do not identify individual visitors may be retained for longer. Correspondence is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain business records, and meet legal or security obligations.

Website analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics and Cloudflare Workers Analytics Engine to understand how visitors reach and use this website. We use the information to measure website traffic and acquisition sources, evaluate calls to action, measure aggregate inquiry conversion, diagnose contact-form and other technical problems, and improve the site’s content, reliability, and performance.

Our analytics do not place analytics cookies or use browser storage, persistent visitor identifiers, or browser fingerprinting. We do not link analytics events to submitted contact information or other records that identify a person. We do not use analytics for advertising, track visitors across other websites, or sell or share analytics information for targeted advertising. Our infrastructure may process an IP address and user agent as necessary to receive a request, but we do not write them to our analytics event records or use them to build individual profiles.

Cloudflare processes this information on our behalf to provide hosting, performance measurement, and analytics services. More information is available in the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

How and why we use information

We use personal information to operate, secure, and improve the site; prevent fraud and abuse; respond to inquiries and security reports; maintain appropriate business records; and comply with law. Where applicable, we rely on our legitimate interests in carrying out these activities, steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, compliance with legal obligations, or your consent. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

Cookies and similar technologies

Margrave and Cloudflare may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary to secure the site, detect bots, prevent abuse, and maintain availability. These technologies may include a temporary challenge or clearance cookie when Cloudflare determines that a security check is needed.

We do not use these technologies for targeted advertising or cross-site behavioral tracking. Our practices do not change in response to a browser’s Do Not Track signal because we do not track visitors over time across third-party websites. Turnstile is loaded when the contact form is opened. Service providers

We use service providers, including Cloudflare, to host and protect the site, produce website analytics, verify contact-form submissions, and deliver inquiries to us. They process information under their agreements and privacy terms, including to provide those services, maintain security capabilities, and comply with law. We do not sell information collected through the site or share it for targeted advertising.

We may also disclose information where reasonably necessary to comply with law or valid legal process, investigate or prevent abuse, protect the rights and safety of Margrave or others, or complete a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets. Any successor would remain subject to this policy or provide notice of materially different practices.

International processing

Margrave and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. Those countries may have different data-protection laws from your country. Where applicable law requires it, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information we hold about you; restrict or object to certain processing; withdraw consent; and appeal or lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. You will not be discriminated against for exercising applicable privacy rights.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Changes

We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. If a change materially affects how we collect, use, or disclose personal information, we will provide reasonable notice before the change takes effect and obtain consent where required by law.
